I started SIR Home Improvements back in 1980 with a simple mission to give homeowners quality solutions they can trust, delivered by people who truly care. More than four decades later, we’re still a family-owned business, and we’re growing fast. That’s why I’m personally inviting motivated individuals to join our team as Project Consultants.
This isn’t just another sales job. At SIR, we hire for attitude and train for experience. No background in sales? No problem. If you’re assertive, coachable, energetic, and have the right mindset, we’ll teach you everything you need to know. We’re looking for people who want to be part of a culture of success and are ready to work hard and earn a lot of money doing it.
As a Project Consultant, you’ll meet with homeowners in person, show them our top-tier products for kitchen, bathroom, and window remodeling, and guide them through their options. You’ll deliver a proven sales presentation, help overcome any concerns, and ultimately help families improve their homes and their lives.
You’ll start your training at our Portage office, but after that, if you live within our service area, you won’t need to relocate. You’ll be out in the field, working independently and earning commissions based on your performance. Our team is supportive, close-knit, and focused on helping you win.

● Meet with clients at their homes and demonstrate our products
● Present solutions clearly and professionally using our sales process
● Help customers make informed decisions and close the sale
● Follow up as needed and keep track of your goals
Compensation
In 2024, our Sales Specialists earned between $90,000 and $250,000, with average first-year earnings between $90,000 and $120,000. This is a full-time role with no cap on your earnings and plenty of room to grow. We hire a small, high performing team of consultants, so our numbers are not spread across hundreds of employees.
