We are currently hiring a Flooring Installer to join our team in Portage, Michigan. This is a full-time position for someone with experience in residential flooring who takes quality seriously and works well both independently and as part of a crew. If you’re dependable, skilled, and ready to put your talents to use in homes across our service area, we’d love to meet you.

Here’s what you’ll do
● Measure and cut flooring materials to fit precisely within designated areas
● Install a wide variety of flooring types including hardwood, laminate, tile, and carpet
● Prepare surfaces for installation by cleaning, leveling, and repairing subfloors as needed
● Interpret blueprints and layout specifications to ensure accurate installations
● Perform trim carpentry and finishing touches to complete the look of each flooring job
● Collaborate with team members and other trades on-site to keep projects running smoothly
● Maintain a clean and safe workspace and follow all job site safety protocols
● Communicate with clients professionally and keep them informed on progress
Here’s what we’re looking for
● Proven experience in flooring installation
● Familiarity with tile laying techniques is a plus
● Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
● The ability to work independently and as part of a team
● A positive attitude and a desire to contribute to a high-performing company
Compensation and Benefits
● Full-time position
● Pay ranges from 21.00 to 40.00 per hour depending on experience
