SIR Home Improvements is looking for you to assist our customers with their Kitchen, Bath and Replacement Window projects! Our best Design and Sales Consultants are driven, dynamic and customer-oriented people. While formal sales experience is not required (we provide training), the ideal candidate has a desire to exceed customer expectations, is an excellent communicator in English (both verbal and written), has owned their own home, and understands how to increase the value of a home through home improvement projects.

Our Design and Sales Consultants are backed by SIR’s in-house team of knowledgeable Call Center representatives. As a SIR consultant, you are neither responsible for, nor required to, make cold calls or generate leads. Many of our appointments are return customers, customer referrals/word of mouth, and targeted home improvement leads with homeowners who are motivated to start their projects. Design and Sales Consultants conduct in-home appointments to assist homeowners by designing their home remodel projects and demonstrating how our company can help them realize their home improvement dreams.

  • Customer service experience and a desire to exceed expectations
  • Experience with personal home ownership preferred
  • Ability to effectively speak and write in English
  • Influential, persuasive communication and presentation skills
  • A sterling work ethic, and the ability to arrive on time, prepared and ready to work with customers in their homes
  • Flexible schedule – homeowner appointments may be in the evenings or on Saturdays
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurable by SIR’s insurance company

Compensation & Bonuses

  • Salary, Transitioning into Full Commission Earnings:
    •  In 2022, consultants earned between $80,000-$250,000 a year
    • Average first year, full-time consultant income is $80,000 - $150,000

  • Daily travel to in-home consultations to assist residential customers with their home improvement projects and close the sale.
  • Gain expert knowledge of SIR’s products and services, and the ability to discuss product offerings and options with homeowners.
  • Assist residential homeowners with identifying products that best fit their needs and goals.
  • Deliver a proven sales presentation.
  • Attend professional paid training and weekly sales meetings.
  • Make use of ongoing support to assist in closing the sale.
